The DS12 furnace tube surface assembly thermocouple can accurately measure the surface temperature of flat or curved surfaces. The hot end of the DS12 sensor is a curved pad attached to a mineral-insulated cable (armored cable). Armored cables are composed of metal sheaths and insulated leads compressed in a high-density ceramic material. Internal leads are made of heat-sensitive material. Suitable jacket material can be selected according to application requirements. At one end of the armored cable, the internal leads are welded together to form an insulated (ungrounded) or uninsulated (grounded) measuring point. The other end of the armored cable, the end of the lead is connected to the armored cable and sealed with a sealant. The wires finally form a platform for electrical connections. Cables, plug-in connectors, connector sockets can be connected to this platform.
