Gear flow transmitter is a type of volumetric flow transmitter, which is used to measure volume flow with high accuracy. With the flow of the medium, the gears mesh and rotate. Under the effect of the fluid flow, the pressure difference is formed at both ends of the instrument inlet and outlet. No power supply is required. A pair of gears rotate freely. The cavity between the gears is filled with liquid, and the liquid is discharged with the rotation. The flow of liquid flowing through the instrument can be known by measuring the number of revolutions of the gear.
The gear transmitter has high processing accuracy and precise installation. The rotation of the gear is scanned non-contact, and each tooth generates a pulse with very high resolution. Cylindrical gear transmitter can measure very small flow, quantitative small volume of liquid.
