Description

A colorometer is a laboratory instrument that measures or details color by comparison with synthetic pigments. A typical chromatiometer has a standard light source, three color filters, phototubes, and a standard reflective panel. A more advanced chromatiometry uses phototubes and electronic circuits for the human eye as the receiver, thus accelerating the acquisition of results.
